Kelsey Moore

Yoga Instructor

Kelsey was born and raised on Vancouver Island, BC. Surrounded by the tall trees and cold seas, she was fortunate to pick up surfing in her teens, and was a competitive dancer turned dance instructor. These among other explorations of movement brought her to her first yoga class in 2014. In 2020, she took the step to take her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali, Indonesia to improve her own practice. She soon found that like being a dance instructor, teaching yoga gave her immense gratification. Yoga has given her the ability to appreciate the present moment and to live a more value-based life in a goal-oriented world. If she’s not in the yoga studio, you can find her snowboarding the green runs on the slopes, rock climbing, swimming laps in the pool, road cycling, trail running, or reading a good book. Jane Osborne

Pilates Instructor

Jane has been in a long-term relationship with Pilates for over 15years, leading to the completion of two comprehensive certifications, one from PhysicalMind, which was more contemporary, and a Classical approach through Pilates from the Center, along with an additional certification in pre/post-natal Pilates. As a professional dancer for over a decade, Jane always depended on Pilates to keep things feeling as balanced as possible in her body. When injury signaled the end of that career a few years ago, Jane took a deep dive into not only her Pilates practice, but in how other movement modalities could support the body to unwind and then repattern long-standing movement strategies. She has since completed additional training in Yamuna Body Rolling, Franklin Method, and Anatomy Trains, and is a certified level 1 Hypopressives teacher. During her last year on the coast Jane worked as a physio assistant at a pelvic health clinic and this experience further ignited her passion and curiosity to learn more about pre- and post-natal support and education, the interconnectedness of the body through the nervous system and fascia, and the importance of a trauma-informed practice in healthcare. These topics are where Jane is directing her further learning endeavours.

As a teacher Jane loves to get specific and dive into the details. She believes that if you have a strong understanding of the foundations of your support systems, that from there you can push, play, explore and challenge yourself in all aspects of your life. She believes in leaning into hard work (but not tension), staying curious, and accepting what is. In class you’ll find she talks a lot, gets pretty excited and sweats without actually doing the exercises. Joy for Jane is found outside; kiting, biking, skiing and generally getting lost in nature, and she’s unlikely to turn down a good ol’ fashioned kitchen dance party.

Cathy Keenan

Yoga & Qi Gong Instructor

I have has always been fascinated with the human body and its potential for deep healing. I started practicing yoga when I was 28 years old eager to learn how to move my body in different ways and change the trajectory of my life. My love of learning persuaded me to quit my day job as a producer at an animation company and go back to school to study Chinese Medicine.

Chinese medicine appealed to me because of its beautiful and metaphorical language around healing and the body. It views humans as an integral part of our environment and therefore looks at every aspect of our life as an important part of our evolution and healing.

I graduated and received my diploma in acupuncture when I was almost 9 months pregnant. Days after I delivered my baby boy I developed a rare pregnancy related disease called Post Partum Cardio Myopathy (heart failure). This experience, along with a slow recovery and becoming a new mother deeply impacted my understanding of health and healing. From this perspective I gradually began to change the way I practiced and taught. Over the years I have been a lululemon ambassador, practiced acupuncture, developed various types of workshops, yin yoga teacher training’s, retreats and classes that has combined yoga and the philosophy of Chinese medicine.

Today I enjoy taking an integrative approach to movement (inspired by yoga, Qi Gong, 5 Rhythms Dance, (and other curious ways of moving) while continuing to share the deep wisdom and my love of Chinese Medicine.

Laura Collier

Yoga Instructor

I first tried yoga whilst working in the fast-paced London architecture industry and found it relieved both my desk hunch and busy mind. Following snowboarding and running injuries, yoga has also helped me to safely build up my strength and flexibility again, and to appreciate the holistic view of my health. Fast forward five years and I’m enthusiastically bringing my own style of practicing to others around the world.

I offer classes that are for all abilities, and which are specifically designed to the time of day, experience of the students, and the activities taking place before and after. I love the inclusivity of yoga; both beginners and more experienced students can come together in the same class and enjoy the release and freedom that the practice brings, mentally as well as physically. I aim to help my students feel a sense of self-connection.
